random california pics

so i'm just now getting to showing a few pics from our trip. partly because i'm not great on the computer, so i'm teaching myself as i go. posting pictures was a problem for me the other night. now i'm trying again in hopes that it works this time. so far it all looks good. we were gone for 5 days and most of it was spent at either disney land or california adventure.
our first and most important stop was to see mickey. that's aliya's only request then she's happy as can be. she just gets so excited when she sees him. she begged everyday to see mickey, yet once a trip is plenty for the rest of us.
photos of kam are hard to come by, yet i still try. he caught me on this one. i've realized after i've looked thru my photos that i'm not getting enough of him. so i'm working on that, he just makes it difficult at times
another opportunity aliya wanted. she saw chicken little and knew immediately that she wanted a pic. this is over on the california adventure side. if you haven't checked it out yet it's a lot of fun. they have an area with a studio that you go into and get to learn how to draw one of the characters. we got to draw donald duck. we all loved this, even aliya. they also have a spot where you go in and get to meet crush the turtle from "nemo" (at our house it's known as nino) he answers questions from the audience. it was fun and in an air conditioned building which in my book is a huge bonus. i think on this trip our favorite part was the day we spent at california adventure. it was not as busy and just so much more laid back. there were so many things to do there that we didn't even realize. i'm just now getting caught up for being gone. i always feel like i need a vacation from the vacation. or some down time after coming home. so now to get the dance pics downloaded. then my next attempt will to be to start posting glimpses of my upcoming classes. which will be tons of fun for me, so keep checking back for updates. have a good one!
