gratitude challenge

the actual journaling on my page reads:
i love mornings like this one! they don't happen very often, but when they do i enjoy every minute. it's been cool enough to keep the windows open. when i woke up i could hear the birds chirping and the blinds barely knocking against the wall from the slight breeze. i woke up with my pillow and blankets all in just the right place. i was so comfy i didn't want it to end! i was lucky enough to have the kids on fall break. this gave them the chance to sleep in. that meant i was able to enjoy the moment. these are the mornings i remember well!

so this is the actual layout i did! it's 9x9. i thought that would be an easy size to continue to do and it would make a nice size for a journal! i came up with a few challenges in case you want to try something different on your layout. try one of them, try all of them, or come up with your own!
1. put your title on your layout verticaly
2. turn on your t.v. and use the first 3 words you hear anywhere on your layout.
3. use something you've been saving to use on that perfect layout. or something you might not normaly put on a layout.
i chose to put my title on verticaly. i also got the first 3 words on the t.v. which were "okay, well listen". i used okay listen as my title. then at the end of my journaling i used the word "well". this part was kind of fun! actually the words i got worked out really well. so i think i got lucky! i also used a paper bag that we had gotten somewhere while shopping. i saved it because i thought it would be awesome on a layout. so i used it as part of the background on my layout. i also tried something different. i tore the picture of the blinds vertically about 2 inches down and layered the other picture between the tear.
so have fun with this challenge and keep track of the things you are grateful for. try and take a picture of one of those things and then scrap them. if you want please leave a link in the comment section so we can all see. above all have fun with this and enjoy the little things!
