GOOD NEWS HERE!!!
okay i guess a bit of background might help before i break into the good news! i know you want me to get right to it, but just bare with me for a few minutes!!!
okay many of you know that michelle and i met when she opened the store devine memories. i became a part of the design team and michelle and i have since become great friends! michelle and her mom sandy are wonderful women to work with! shortly after they took over the store michelle had to make a trip to cha. sandy wasn't able to go with her. before you knew it i was booking a flight to go to vegas with michelle! we had a blast! while we were there our brains were working overtime and we had so many ideas that we were playing off each other! we thought eventually we wanted to try them and see how people responded to them! after we got home things just stayed so busy and our ideas continued to stay on the back burner. as they did we continually had more and more ideas! still they just waited until there was a bit more time! we finally decided that we wanted to teach at the ck phoenix convention. all 3 of us were so excited to be able to do this! well before the convention actually came michelle, my sister, and i were out shopping. it just hit me like a brick wall! i was ready to push through and get our ideas out there! michelle was just as excited! i just don't think she was ready for me to just keep going full force with it right before the convention!!!! oh well when it hits it hits! so this gives you a bit of a background leading up to our great news! michelle and i both love to come up with some fun and funky ideas for our classes. we've been doing this for awhile. we just thought it would be more fun to share them with others!
so we've decided to start our own business i guess you could say! okay so i'm not the greatest with words and putting things out there so i'll do my best to explain! we both love fun, funky, eclectic, and different things! so we will have a blog set up starting in october. we will be selling embellishment kits! no paper. we figure you can find that easily or you've already got some! so these kits will be themed or in colors or whatever we come up with for the month! they will have some different and funky finds. some months there may only be a certain amount depending upon what we find! so if you love it then get it! we are going to try the blog and see how it goes. if it's going well then at the first of the year we'll switch it over to a website! now for those of you that live local we will also be selling stuff in smaller kits or individually at devine memories. the items are great for scrapbooking, card making, altering, or just creating whatever you love to create! i'm so excited because we've found some fun stuff to get started. we'll always have new stuff coming in. some of it may be in limited amounts. we will try to offer some new and fun things on the blog throughout the month also. that way those of you that aren't close by will have a chance to get some of these fun finds!
okay so we will also be having people use some of our stuff and make pages or books or whatever their little heart desires! this way you'll have an idea as what you can do with these fun things! for the month of october we are lucky to have amy oneil helping us!!! i can't wait to see what she comes up with! she's very excited and super talented!
oh it would be a good thing to let you in on the name of the company! since i've given you a bit of background it should completely make sense to you (i hope).
"friendZfinds" is the official name of our new adventure! we are both so excited to be able to do this! we have some fun ideas that we will be working on. we can't wait to see how this goes off! hopefully this will be something that others are really wanting and will have fun with! if you happen to have feedback along the way please let us know! we would love to hear from you to know how we're doing! looking forward to actually getting this up and going in october. our goal is to have the blog up and going oct. 1st with the kits for display and sale. please bare with us while we get this going! it will be worth the wait i hope! i'll keep you updated through this blog while we're getting things set up! thanks again for everyone's support in this new venture! it'll be a lot of fun!
