a new challenge

well at least for me! one of my goals this next year was to journal more about things. i know i keep a blog and post things on that. so in a way that is a journal. well i really want to try and put it into an actual journal. so with doing my christmas journal i found this new blog. check it out here at a fancy word for simple. i know i may not journal on a daily basis. i'm going to try and go with things that inspire me.

Today is filled with “delicious ambiguity” as all of 2007 sits in the future. How do you approach a new year? What are your hopes, dreams, and plans for the year? What do you want to leave behind about last year?

usually i approach the new year with lots of excitement. it feels like a fresh start and new beginings. i love that feeling. even though we could make a fresh start anytime it just feels different at the first of the year. i have a few goals and dreams in mind for this next year. we usually sit down at the begining of the year as a family and work on this together. we make a collage of our goals to hang somewhere in our room. hopefully we'll get a chance to do this sometime this week. i'll try and share that once it's complete.
