12 of 12 and no school!

so here are part of my pictures from the 12 of 12! i'm glad i have these. i took pictures through out the day with 2 different cameras. one that is small and i'm not as familiar with. that was the downside to the day. i think i somehow erased all the pictures on the small one! bummer, cuz i had some fun pictures on there!
oh well i have these at least! yep i know it's a toilet! started the potty training process with aliya AGAIN! that's a hard one. if anyone has any hints on potty training a very head strong dependent 3 yr. old just send them my way! heck if your tip works i would even send you some goodies! the next is aliya just playing. we then had to head out for some errands and she insisted on takeing her stuffed puppy "lady"! when we went outside it definately looked like the forcast was for RAIN! which i happened to capture on the small camera later on that day! aliya loves animals and she loves to spend time with our 2 puppies-tink, and jojo! then we were enjoying some mommy daughter time with her on my lap. i was able to get a few fun shots of her! she said this was her smile! the last 2 pictures are of kam. he finally made the huge decision. he kept his PS3! he was wanting a Wii for christmas and santa couldn't locate one. however santa came across a PS3! well it was to be returned to the store in hopes that a Wii would soon come available. well kam came home on the 12th with the decision of keeping the PS3! his uncle has a Wii so they will take turns using the systems i'm sure. this of course makes me happy since i don't have to return the system! so far it's been a huge hit with him!
well today is MLK day and the kids are out of school! they are both out enjoying the down time! i'm just trying to get caught up on the house and the laundry again! it always seems there is a list about a mile long of things to get done! well i might be able to cross off a few of those at the end of the day! for the most part it's just a relaxing day at home!
off to work on my class samples! hopefully those will be up on the blog soon! have a wonderful day!

We just did the potty thing at our house - and at daycare with our little girl's best friend who is the same age. We just set the timer (a little one that they could clip on their waistband or shirt) for 15 minutes and then when it beeped, off to the potty. After a couple of days, we upped it to 20 minutes and then a few days later to 30. That only took about a week, and now both little girls are pretty much daytime trained. I think it was the whole timer thing that won them over. They'd both been sooo resistant to training before that. Good luck!
well I didn't get 12 of 12 this month always next month right??? Love the Aliya pictures
